Looking for something adventurous and outdoorsy to do this weekend?
Head to Jim Thorpe for some white water rafting.
The US Army Corps of Engineers is giving Mother Nature a Boost on Saturday and Sunday with some additional water force.
The Corps will have a 1,700 cubic feet per second release on Saturday, that’s double the usual, which means double the thrills. On Sunday, a 1,000 cfs release will happen.
There are several options in and near Jim Thorpe for the adventure.
