The Dietrich Film Festival continues through Thursday, Oct. 9, so you have one more week to take in a collection of art films and foreign films.

Now don’t confuse “Chef” and “Le Chef.” The former, which will be shown one last time on Wednesday, Oct. 8, tells the story of a creative and headstrong chef who suddenly quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant. In an effort to find his own style and enjoy his work again, he teams up with his ex-wife, a friend and his son to launch a food truck. So that’s an American story.

“Le Chef,” in contrast, is in French with English subtitles and follows a talented but inexperienced chef as he finds a job at one of the best restaurants in Paris. That will have its last Dietrich showing on Friday, Oct. 3.

And if those movies whet your appetite for even more stories about food, “The Trip to Italy” is a buddy movie said to provide “some sparkling banter and mouth-watering meals.”
