For the non makeup wearers; there’s one time you wear lipstick each year and it’s usually on a special sort of occasion or holiday. For the makeup enthusiasts; you will create your own special holiday just to get the chance to wear your new or favorite lip color.

Whether you’re 2 or 92, these two holiday short and sweet lip looks will just about suit anyone.

The first look is for the not so nice, with a bold and bright matte red lip. Take any lip primer and apply liberally to guarantee longevity. Next take a red lip liner and follow just outside your natural lip line for a fuller effect. Now take the matte red lipstick and apply to your lips. To finish this ultimate holiday pout apply a food safe or cosmetic grade gold glitter by tapping it on to the outer corners of your top and bottom lip.

For the innocent one follow the same steps of priming and lining your lips but use a nude lip pencil to over line your lips. Then take a soft creamy subtle pink lipstick and mix it on the back of your hand with a sheer peach gloss, this will give you the pigment of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss for a more doll like lip lacquer. Apply all over.

If you don’t own a lip primer, you can lightly fill your lips in with a concealer. Another nice item to have would be a clear lip pencil created to prevent bleeding of lipstick.
